The whole community is invited to promote awareness for the Missing & Murdered Indigenous People walk which will start outside of the school at 3:30PM-5PM.
The participants will walk around the town and will proceed to end at the City Complex with spaghetti, cupcakes and juice. The Yupik Woman’s Coalition and the Emmonak Women’s Shelter will partner together in this activity handing out posters and a handful of t-shirts for any who engage in this event.
All Alaskans have the right to safety and justice, and stop the missing and murdered Indigenous persons (MMIP). Join the call for a greater response to the crisis of MMIP.
